With us, it retains all its nobility and is done in the traditional way.

2. A TRUE TRADITIONAL MADE-TO-MEASURE SHIRT STARTS WITH A BEAUTIFUL FABRIC.
Just as a great chef cannot make a great dish with poor ingredients, even the world’s best tailor cannot make a beautiful shirt without a beautiful fabric.
For your Made-to-measure shirt, whatever your budget, we offer only fabrics from the best European mills: Loro Piana, Thomas Mason, Canclini, Soktas,…
3. AND THEN, TRADITIONAL CONSTRUCTION
Our House celebrates the traditional craftsmanship of European Master tailors.
Each shirt is individually hand-cut from a unique paper pattern, ensuring a balanced Made-to-measure shirt with flattering lines. Patterns are archived so they can evolve along with you.
Depending on your budget, for shirts we offer 3 levels of construction ranging from partially handmade (Black range) to fully handmade (Aurum and Made-to-measure ranges).
But even our 1st level remains a true traditional Made-to-measure shirt made to the highest standards.

In practice
What are the steps and timing to make your made-to-measure shirt.
1. Your wedding discovery appointment (30 min to 1h): you don’t yet know what you want.
Son but : to get to know you. Talk about you and your wishes. Define your style. Touch fabrics. See examples. Try models. And leave with a quote, a schedule, ideas and advice.
2. Your measurement appointment (+/-20 to 45 min): You’ve decided.
- Your fabric
- Your model (classic, formal, casual…) and your cut (oversize, comfort, fitted, very fitted,…)
- Your personalisation details
- The workshop and level of construction.
N.B. Once we have your measurements, this step can take just a few minutes on subsequent visits.
3. The fitting (+/- 30 min and often +/- 4 weeks after the order)
The fitting takes place under the expert eye of your tailor. They will note any adjustments needed to make your shirt perfect.
At the end of this appointment, either you leave with the order, or a second fitting is scheduled before final pickup.
4. Final pickup (5 to 15 min)

That’s part of our service. Just stop by the boutique and we’ll take care of it free of charge in our own workshop.

The armhole and sleeve attachment
The armhole is an essential element of a shirt, both for comfort and aesthetics. Our armholes have an offset seam to improve arm movement and avoid creases when moving.
Buttons, buttonholes and placket
As with suits, they are sewn in a cross pattern for excellent hold. You can choose plastic or genuine mother-of-pearl. Buttonholes are sewn with thick, dense thread to prevent fraying. You can choose a visible or hidden placket, single or double.
The collar
Our collars have excellent hold thanks to their thickness and the quality of the interlinings used. The collar tips are softer to ensure maximum comfort around the neck. Classic, round, Italian, Neapolitan, officer, mao, cutaway, dandy, American,… the choices are many. For each type, you can also choose the stiffness of the interlining and the addition of fixed or removable stays.
Cuffs
They should be rigid to ensure an excellent curve around the wrist. As with collars, the choice is wide: rounded, square, French (for cufflinks), adjustable, 1 or 2 buttons,…
Shirt hems and gusset
Shirt hems can be chosen straight or rounded depending on use. The gusset is an often-forgotten detail that we consider essential to protect the joint between the back and front yokes from tears caused by wear.
Stitching
They are made with a single needle, 7 stitches per cm (English seam), a more complex technique that leaves only a single seam line, fine, regular and almost invisible.
The back
You can add ease pleats and darts to accentuate the fit.
The capuchin placket
This is the placket that starts at the wrist and ends in the middle of the forearm. It gives a nice finish to the shirt and is made with great care.
Embroidery
Each piece can be embroidered where you wish with your name, initials, or a special date.
